Sci-Fi has a review of the first set of Voltron DVDs. Here’s a small part of it:
… there’s an awful lot to like in these opening Voltron episodes, from the slow-burn plot arc to the careful establishment of five iconic characters: Keith (the dashing, blandly perfect leader), Hunk (the big, slowish but good-hearted one), Lance (the “edgy” smartass), Pidge (the brains-over-brawn kid) and Princess Allura (the obligatory girl, and often the team’s weakest link, in emotions and skills alike). These five characters became prototypes, often imitated and often shorthanded, in part because they were established so well here, with episodes focusing on each of them in turn.
Hellboy: Sword of Storms, a new animated feature based on Mike Mignola’s graphic novel series, continues the comic-book and film series when it debuts Oct. 28 at 9:30 p.m. ET/PT on Cartoon Network’s Toonami programming block.

Lucas said Wednesday he’s making an animated TV series of “Clone Wars” that could air next year. The series is set during the time when the Republic is fighting a civil war against separatists led by Count Dooku.
The show is planned as a continuation of the “Clone Wars” that aired in 25 episodes on the Cartoon Network from 2003 to 2005. That series used limited animation. The new version will use 3-D computer graphics.
